After its immense success on the big screen, Albuquerque Little Theatre is bringing LES MISERABLES to the stage to conclude its 84th Season. This exhilarating musical voyage is based on the novel by Victor Hugo. Set in early 19th-century France, LES MISERABLES tells the story of Jean Valjean and his quest for redemption after serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread. Valjean breaks his parole and starts a new life but is relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert. Along the way, Valjean and a slew of characters are swept into a revolution in France. This blockbuster musical includes popular songs like I Dreamed A Dream, Do You Hear The People Sing, On My Own and One Day More.
