Wow, Larry and Stevie reunited! This is going to be one amazing show.
Hello- I’ve been a subscriber for some time and wanted you to know that your production of Singin’ in the Rain was seriously lacking. Firstly, who designed that awful set? Were those supposed to be palm trees? Did you know that the cake the actress jumped out of had a huge chunk of wood missing on the bottom? Secondly, the sound is just awful. I realize the building is near 80 years old but what happened to the guy who used to do the sound there? The sound has never been this awful and it needs to be looked at before next season. I don’t know if it was casting or the directing but this play lacked smooth transitions. Something to work on in future.
On the up side, the two supporting actors were fantastic! They stole show and out shined the leads! Lisette Herrera was so charming and Ryan (whose last name escapes me) as the sidekick to the Gene Kelly character was not only a very talented dancer, but he was hilarious as well.
