GROUP EXTRAS INFORMATION
Included in this post you will find some very important information about the project and what you can expect. Whether you have done extra work in the past or this is your first time, please be sure to review all of the information provided.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Lemonade Mouth” is a new Disney Channel original movie currently being filmed in the Albuquerque area. The movie stars Adam Hicks (“Zeke & Luther”), Bridgit Mendler (“Good Luck Charlie”), Hayley Kiyoko (“Wizards of Waverly Place”).
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
Volunteer EXTRAS to play FANS in concert footage scenes. They are looking for high school students and adults in the Albuquerque area. Each event date has its own age restrictions (see dates/locations) and general age limit is restricted to 14 years and older. No one under the age of 14 please.
FILMING DATES & LOCATIONS
- Friday 8/13/10 | Atrisco High School | Ages 14 to 20
- Monday 8/16/10 & Tuesday 8/17/10 | Kiva Auditorium | Ages 14-65
- Tuesday 8/24/10 | Santa Ana Star Center | Ages 14-65.
You are invited to participate on either one or more of these dates.
HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED
You will be expected to stay for the duration of our filming day, which can last anywhere from 4-6 hours. Start time for each date is still TBD but will tentatively begin in the early afternoon (approx. 2:00pm-ish).
This means that you clear your schedule for the afternoon/evening of shooting. Once you are there, you can’t leave until it is over.
DO I GET PAID?
No, you will not be paid. This is meant to be a fun event and learning experience, and you might get to see yourself on TV. By participating as a member of the Albuquerque Little Theatre (ALT) Group, you are helping ALT to earn a donation from the Disney Channel.
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED
We will provide snacks and beverages for everyone throughout the day. During the day, there will be giveaways and raffles for great prizes. You will also get the chance to see your favorite television actors and possibly see yourself on The Disney Channel!!
HOW TO BECOME INVOLVED
Contact courtney@abqlt.org to reserve your place on the list. Space is limited, so please respond ASAP!
- Your email must be received no later than Thursday, August 12 at 11:00am MST.
- Your email subject line must read: Disney Channel Movie
- In your email, please list the names and ages of all members of your party.
- In your email, please the dates you want to participate.
Once you send your email, you will receive a confirmation email.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE (PLEASE READ THIS PART CAREFULLY!)
If you are 18 years over age or older, please bring a photo ID with you.
If you are between the ages of 14 and 17, you MUST have a parent/guardian to chaperone your group. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST also have a copy of your birth certificate, as well as a filled-out and signed Pre-authorization Certificate for Minor Extras. Click here to download the Pre-Authorization form. If you do not have a chaperone, a copy of your birth certificate, and a signed Pre-Authorization form, you will NOT be admitted into the shoot.
