Tier 1: Space-Only:
Limited Access ✧ Low-Impact Events

Accommodates one-time business and club meetings, auditions, rehearsals, creative gatherings, and art groups.

Space terms include:

Cantina

    • Enter through the main theatre doors (Box Office) and lobby
    • A cozy setting upstairs
    • Accessible by stairs inside the building
    • Cushioned and comfortable love seats and chairs; able to be arranged
    • Restroom facilities on the same floor
    • Seats up to 16 – 20 people
    • Able to bring in basic refreshments (may be additional cost if food and drink becomes extensive and requires additional cleaning)
    • COST: $60 an hour for up to 3 hours; $50 each additional hour up to 5 hours

Rehearsal room

    • Enter from the stairs outside the building
    • Open space is set up for movement, dance, rehearsal, etc.
    • Can seat up to 40 people
    • 2 – 3 folding tables available
    • Restroom facilities accessible by stairs
    • Able to bring in basic refreshments (may be additional cost if food and drink becomes extensive and requires additional cleaning)
    • COST: $85 an hour for up to 3 hours; $75 each additional hour up to 5 hours

Stage

    • Enter through the main theatre doors (Box Office) and lobby
    • Space is dependent on the build and run of ALT productions
    • Use work lights only
    • Basic pieces, such as table(s) and chair(s) can be provided
    • Minimum use of lobby and house/seating; not intended for an event requiring a large audience
    • No balcony use
    • Restroom facilities in the lobby
    • Only water in the theatre
    • Basic refreshments may be able to be served in lobby (may be additional cost if food and drink becomes extensive and requires additional cleaning)
    • COST: $125 an hour for up to 3 hours; $115 each additional hour up to 5 hours

Spaces do not include technical support; at least one staff member will be on duty

What is required

    • Signed contract
    • Proof of Insurance Liability
    • $50 Cleaning Deposit
    • Deposit of 25% of space cost

Tier 2: Supported One-Day Events:
✧ Public-Facing Events

An ideal space for one-time performances, staged readings, rehearsals, comedians, graduations, and a variety of educational and community events

Space terms include:

Stage, House, and Lobby

    • Enter through the main theatre doors (Box Office) and lobby
    • Space is dependent on the build and run of ALT productions
    • Defined load-in and loud-out parameters
    • Basic technical support is provided if required:
      • One technical support staff member to manage technical elements and run the event
      • One handheld mic and mic stand (wired and wireless)
      • One wireless body mic
      • Up to 15 cues, using our in-house light plot
      • Basic pieces such as table(s), chairs, podium, etc. can be provided
    •  Access to up to 4 dressing rooms (some dressing rooms can accommodate 2 – 3 performers)
    • Access to green room
    • Access to kitchen (no cooking, but may use microwave, fridge, and counters)
    • Front-of-House support (one staff member) if necessary (for ushering and traffic control)
    • Strike and basic cleaning of dressing rooms, green room, and kitchen is required (leave it how you find it)
    • Security is required for 100 participants/patrons or more; not included in rental – see Additional Services
    • Box Office services not included, but are available – see Additional Services
    • COST: $1250 for up to 6 hours, which includes load-in and setup, basic tech rehearsal if needed, event/performance, take-down and load-out ($200 for every hour after)

    • $400 Space Deposit

Additional Services

Security (required for event with 100 participants/patrons or more)

    • ALT can provide for $30 an hour
    • Renter can provide – must provide proof of certification from the security company

Box Office Services

    •  
    • Deduction of $3.30 convenience fee per ticket (includes ticket service and credit card fee)
    • Deduction of ALT Box Office service fee of $1.70 per ticket (Box Office open W – F 10am – 3pm)
    • Box Office staff on-site for event (1.5 hours before start, until 30 minutes after event begins) – $100

ALT Staff Coverage

    • Front-of-House Staff
      • Included – one staff member
      • If additional staff member needed – $30 per hour

Technical Support

    • Included – one staff member for Tier 2
    • If additional technical staff members are needed – $35 per hour (for training, running light or sound board, etc.)

Refreshments

    • Basic refreshments/food and drink is permitted in certain spaces if everything is cleaned up
    • There could be an extra cost if more extensive refreshments are used, and the use of equipment, appliances, serving material is requested/needed
