Strong need for experienced actors, but also opportunity for beginners who wish to gain experience in acting. There are many roles for children, teens, and adults in this classic play.

Albuquerque Little Theatre will be holding auditions for the production MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET on Saturday, September 28 at 1 PM and Sunday, September 29th at 5 PM.

Auditions will START at 1PM (Saturday) or 5PM (Sunday) and will consist of cold readings from the script. Please be on time for your audition.

Callbacks will be held Monday, September 30 at 5:30 p.m. BY INVITATION ONLY.

Auditions will be held in the 2nd story rehearsal room at ALT, 224 San Pasquale, SW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.

Please bring a headshot (or recent photo) with you to your audition time.

MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET synopsis: By chance, Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy’s. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy’s customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy’s vocational counselor, who plots to have Kris shanghaied to Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing. Especially at stake is one little girl’s belief in Santa Claus. Holiday magic perfect for the entire family!

MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET runs from Dec 6-24th, 2019.

Rehearsals will begin Sunday October 6th. Rehearsals are generally Sunday-Thurs 6:30-9:30. There may be a Saturday rehearsal, especially around tech week.
