Classes for Kids

Albuquerque Little Theatre Summer 2015
Theatre Camps for Children and Youth

Summer is a time to have fun, try new things and make new friends! If you have a “drama kid” at your house and are looking for an opportunity for them to be in a play, please consider one of ALT’s theatre camps as you make your summer plans. Campers will learn and polish their acting skills as they bring their characters to life on Albuquerque Little Theatre’s historic stage.

Play Builders Camp

If you could be anything you wanted, who would you be? Our most popular class is back for the summer, in two sessions for your scheduling convenience. In this one-of-a kind program, you’ll create your very own character, discuss storylines and improvise scenarios, which will be incorporated into an original script by our resident playwright. You’ll learn theater basics as you rehearse the play and prepare for a world premiere showcase on ALT’s main stage!

This class is perfect for all skill levels and everyone’s guaranteed a role and a great time!
